Meals at Fernmark
Both of us really enjoy cooking and the creativity of cooking.
We have our own orchard and vegetable and herb garden where no chemicals or
pesticides are used at all, and we try to cook as much as possible using
produce from our gardens.
Cooking facilities
are available for your use in our communal kitchen
that looks out onto the orchard and small veggie garden
especially planted for our guests use during their stay.
The kitchen contains a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave,
toaster, kettle and full set of utensils and spices. If there are
veggies or fruit in season you are welcome to pick some for your use while
here.
Breakfasts
include a selection of coffee, tea and cereals for you to choose from.
We provide milk, or if preferred soy milk. Just let us know in
advance. Or….choose to have a breakfast hamper delivered to you.
Normally there is enough to last more than a day! There are two options:

our "standard" hamper includes farm fresh free range eggs, a loaf of
homemade bread, butter, cream cheese, fresh fruit, yoghurt and juice.
($30 for two)

Our "gourmet" hamper
includes the above plus smoked salmon and bagels, and a selection of
cheeses, avocado, tomato & cucumber.
($45 for two)
Picnic lunches
– if you are heading off for the day sightseeing, we would be
pleased to pack you a picnic lunch which consists of a selection
of sandwich spreads (tuna, egg, humus), breads, salads, cakes,
vegetables, fruit, juice, etc. Cost - $22 per person.
Please let us know of any dietary requirements you may have. We
always make a special effort to cater to everyone’s needs.
Afternoon tea
There is always a selection of
teas, coffee, caro or hot chocolate available as well as
home-made biscotti for your enjoyment whenever you so desire.
Dinners
we can prepare a small variety of meals where we provide the
food and you do the final touches yourselves.

Fish hamper – filled with local goodies (fresh
fish, prawns,
oysters etc-depending on season) and ingredients for salads etc.

Vegetarian Lasagne and Salad – at least 3
cheese lasagne with veggies from the garden
·
Delights of India – a tofu and/or fish dish,
dahl, veg curry, & rice.
·
Middle Eastern Yummies - selection of dips, felafel,
pita, olives, etc
Costs - $25-45 per person
Or we can provide you with something from our "mini-market" where we have stocked the shelf with
some basics in case you don't feel like going out again.
